Swedish operatic tenor and hovsångare (royal court singer), born 11 July 1925 in Stockholm, Sweden, died 8 January 2017 in Tolochenaz, Switzerland. He was involved in all the major opera houses in the world, including La Scala in Milan, Covent Garden in London, the Metropolitan in New York and the Paris Opera.
