The above compilation was originally marketed by Nippon Grammophon under the title THE VERY BEST OF CONNIE FRANCIS on MGM SMM 1001, followed by two subsequent editions as MGM MM 1001. Its earlier, retitled and repackaged Polydor KK reissue on MGM MM 2057 marked the fourth issue of this compilation. This release marks the collections fifth edition in Japan and the first on the Polydor label.
