This 12-song set contains new, updated hit versions recorded in 1983 by the line-up of Derek Leckenby (lead guitar/vocals), Barry Whitwam (drums), Garth Elliott (rhythm guitar/lead vocals) and Paul Farnell (bass/vocals). The rerecorded versions were first out on a limited edition cassette album titled "One Dozen Hits" on the group's own label, sold at shows only in 1983 — then released as "Herman's Hermits - Greatest Hits" on vinyl LP, CD and cassette in Denmark in 1987.
