"Volume 1" is the result of a month-long residency by Ruben De Smet during the summer of 2024 at the artist-run space Dingen Die Niet Verkopen in the center of Antwerp. During this period, Ruben invited nine Antwerp-based artists to join him in the space to create a sound recording together. The result is an adventurous record featuring a diverse collection of musical pieces, field recordings, spoken word, and more.
